So my friend Ellen made me a set of wall decorations that spelled out BOY, with an Octopus for the "O". I loved it so much, I decided to make an Octopus shirt. Thanks, Ellen, for the inspiration. It took many sketches to get the legs right. Boy is it hard to fit 8 twisty twirly legs in a small space. I love the result though and Wyatt thought it was cool. He says "Ewwww" every time he sees it & especially likes the button eyes.
I made this one because I thought it would be cute for both Halloween and was kind of Rock 'n Rollish. I totally love the Mohawk Wyatt is rockin'. He loves getting his hair done.
Sometimes I get ideas in my head and they just won't go away. This was one of them and I LOVE the way it turned out. He looks so cute as a little Santa. I think this is what I am going to take his pics in Christmas morning.
This pic was taken in November. It was still gorgeous out. 1 week later(yesterday) it snowed.I made this for a custom order on my etsy shop and decided to list it. I got so many people who ordered this costume or at least the shirt for Halloween. It was kind of crazy. |
If you want to buy some of my handmade shirts( I also sell onesies, burp cloths, blankets, etc) check out my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jackandchloe
I do lots of custom stuff, too and friends and family get 10% off.
P.P.S. I have no idea why the photos are showing up sideways. They appear right side up in every other program, but here. I need blogger advice! I tried rotating and saving them in picasa and they were fine until I put them back in the blog. So weird. I hope I don't give anyone TNS(lol. bonus points if you have any idea what I'm talking about).
