Easter!

Our family went to the city's annual Easter Egg Hunt held at a local park. We got there early to walk around and meet some Easter friends. Wyatt thought the inflatable bunny & egg was pretty cool:
More after the jump...

He wasn't too thrilled meeting the real Easter bunny, though. This was the only shot Clark got before he freaked out and wanted his Momma:
Once we were a safe distance away, Wyatt was very intrigued and could not stop staring at the giant rabbit. Every time Mr. or Mrs. Easter Bunny would look at him, though, he would either turn and run or cling to me. It was really funny.
After the Easter egg hunt, we made our way back to the car to beat traffic. I let Wyatt carry his basket, and he grabbed a sucker out and had it in his mouth before I could stop him. Here he is enjoying his candy in the car:
It's amazing how quickly children learn what candy is and what it looks like. I put some suckers in his Easter basket and he knew exactly what they were. I have since put them out of sight, but when he saw them on top of the fridge he got so excited for them. We had a beautiful Easter weekend with our little guy. It was so fun to start this fun family tradition. This age is so fun! Happy Easter everyone!
