Wyatt is 4!!!

Wow! It seems like just yesterday that my life changed forever. I can't believe that it has been 4 years since I became a mother. Wyatt is constantly conducting science experiments and cooking with or without adult supervision. Once I came down from upstairs after putting Adeline down for a nap to find him trying to make a cake from scratch. He had a large mixing bowl full of flour, sugar, eggs, various spices, sprinkles, and who knows what else. He always wants to be my little helper in the kitchen and is always dreaming up new science experiments to try. He is so curious and such a sweet, smart boy! He loves people and is very social! He is constantly striking up conversations with anyone he meets and everyone is his friend. I can't imagine my life without him.
Here are some quick shots I took of my little charmer in our living room. Isn't he handsome?!

Wyatt is currently taking a Sports Skills/gymnastics class and LOVES it. They practice a new sport every few weeks. His favorite so far has been football because he gets to practice dodging his opponents, diving for touchdowns, and tackling. Above is a pic of him kicking a soccer goal. And below he practices his tackling skills.

Wyatt is also reading now and has almost completed all of the BOB books sets. Here is a pic of him in January with all of the books he had read up until that point. Wyatt thinks it's hilarious to make silly faces at the camera.

This year Wyatt wanted a Transformers birthday party. He loves transformers and Hot Wheels and kept going back and forth about what kind of birthday he wanted. He finally decided on transformers, so I made him the awesome shirt he is wearing below. Wyatt has too many friends to have his party at our house anymore, so we opted to have a gymnastics birthday party at the local rec center. We did gymnastics, parachute games, and relay races for an hour and a half then had pizza and cake up in the party room(which I forgot to take pics of. whoops.) Here are just a few pics from his party.

We had his birthday party the Saturday before his actual birthday, so when his actual birthday rolled around he kept asking if his friends were coming to his REAL birthday party. He had so much fun at his party and I think he thought he was going to get a second one. Ummmm....no. :)We did get to go out to lunch with Daddy for his real birthday, which was such a special treat and we celebrated with cake that night with just our little family. It was perfect. Wyatt, we love you so much. Here's to another year of watching you learn and grow.
